US senate passes revised bail-out plan

The US Senate has passed the revised bail-out plan of US $ 700bn with a majority of 74 to 25 votes. In an earlier voting the House of Representatives had rejected the bill which had greatly disappointed White House and had sent plunged stock markets worldwide.

I think that this will facilitate the passage of bill from the lower house as well.
