The festival was organised jointly by the Faisalabad Arts Council and the Pakistan National Council of Arts to ‘promote rural culture and civilisation’.
Performers at the event held at Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Auditorium included Nazakat Ali, Hasan Siddique, Gulshan Jahan, Fazal Jutt, Afshan Abbas and a dance troupe from the National Performing Arts Group.
