Dog Fancy magazine has named Surf City USA as the DogTown USA" in the category "medium-sized cities.
Each year the magazine conducts a research to know about city that receive dogs with open arms and provides dog-friendly open spaces and dog parks.
City staff and the Huntington Beach Marketing and Visitors Bureau nominated the name of Huntington Beach for the award.
