President George Bush is hopeful that the Congress will pass the $700bn bail-out plan for banks. He said that the legislators will “rise to the occasion” and pass the proposed plan to rescue the Wall Street. White House is asking for speedy passage of the bail-out plan but there are some disagreements which I think will delay the final approval.
President Bush has said that the proposal was big because the problem was big. Senate majority leader Harry Reid has said that lawmakers would remain in session until a deal was reached. Whatever is to be done, should be done quickly and the interests of common people must also be protected in the plan.
