When I read the news that the U.S. ambassador to Libya and 3 other embassy staff killed, I was not shocked. Salafis are unpredictable. They have tried to win Libyan support by killings the diplomats over a a film which they said insulted the Prophet Mohammad.
US should realize that it backed the wrong horses. Salafis will try to assert themselves forcibly. It should have backed former Idress Sect instead of Salafis affiliated with Saudi Arabia.
