Ukraine parliament approves IMF loan bill

Ukraine Parliament has approved a bill for the release of massive emergency loan from International Monetry Fund. Ukraine has been badly hit by the global financial crisis. Its problems were aggravated by a plunge in global steel prices which is its main export.

The IMF has said that it would approve $16.5bn dollars to Ukraine if the bill is approved by the parliament. This vote has cleared the way for the release of much wanted money to the country. IMF has said that it is ready to support all countries that have been affected by the global economic crisis.
